six weeks today!

Rowan is six weeks old today. She had her 6-week doctor's appointment today and she now weighs 10lb 1oz and measures 58.5cm. She's growing like a beanstalk! She has a bit of cradle cap - I'm supposed to rub some baby oil into her scalp to soften it up and then wash with baby shampoo. Otherwise, she is very healthy.

We had some great awake time today:
- fun hand-wiggling stimulation on the bed. I wiggle my hands from high up (making silly sound effects) and come down to tickle her belly, much to her fist-shaking amusement.
- warm bathroom floor naked-time.
- more hand-wiggling naked-time at the doctor's office.
- a solid half-hour of stimulation time with the musical happy bugs, where Rowan managed to get the pull-handle in her hand and wiggle it around.
