cuteness and coordination

It is blowing my mind how quickly Rowan's coordination is improving. She went from sort of randomly grabbing at things to being really accurate in just a couple of days. And she is much better at getting things into her mouth without wildly missing the target.

Rowan is very quick and accurate when grabbing the handles of her musical bugs mobile or the Old McDonald cow. Just a week or two ago, you could see her little mind whirring as she willed her hands to do her bidding. Now, if she wants it, she grabs it with little hesitation. Amazing how fast the brain builds pathways.


Rowan has gone from bonking herself with the above teething toy to being able to get it to her mouth with relative ease. She is also learning to use two hands to hold onto things.


Rowan spits up a lot, which means she gets to wear many different outfits in a day. This also means I do a lot of laundry. But she's so cute that I don't mind.
