handheld portraits and squash

Yesterday I played around taking hand-held photos of Rowan and myself again. What can I say, it's fun. :-)

Rowan spent awhile sitting up - barely supported - between my legs excitedly kicking these oversized cloth toys. The round one is crinkly, the square one has a rattle in it. Then she decided to chew on the clips I added to make the toys easier for her to grab.

chomp!

We also tried Rowan on squash yesterday - tasty homemade squash, not the nasty, grocery store baby-food kind. Another big hit. So far, she seems to love food. We will try the squash again at suppertime tonight.
